The Koala’s new turf field is getting close to completion – for the inaugural season.   

After an initial ground breaking a few months ago, the construction on the new field for Columbia College Lacrosse is making progress.   The under-field drainage system is being installed.  Everyone is looking forward to making history at this new facility.  

The buildup to the inaugural season of Columbia College lacrosse is well underway.   The response has been strong with several players from the region committing to be a part of the very first lacrosse team at Columbia College.

Tom Kinney has been named the first-ever head coach of the men’s lacrosse team.  Kinney joins Columbia College from Raleigh, NC where he served as assistant men’s lacrosse coach at NCAA Division III William Peace University during the 2023-24 season, specializing in offense and special teams.  Prior to that, Kinney worked at Methodist University in…

In a groundbreaking expansion of its athletic programs, Columbia College is thrilled to announce the addition of men’s and women’s lacrosse teams.  To lead the programs, Columbia College has hired two season coaches both with exceptional records of success.
